| The two photographs above are from our premier collection of aerial pictures of the Calumet Region taken in the early 1950's. They were purchased from a private individual and mark the very first group of images obtained by us. The entire collection contains close to 300 negatives showing the various communities and commercial development of the area, including Hammond, Whiting, East Chicago, Gary, Dyer, Schererville, Munster and Highland. All of the negatives have been digitally scanned and digitally enhanced. |
